Guitar Guardians

I'm Eddy Strings, Founder of Strings Academy 
I grew up in Belhar ext.13. 
Which was and is still a disadvantage community. rife with gangsterism / drugs and alcohol abuse. Life wasn't easy, but I found my escape through playing the guitar. I could have never imagined that one day I would have been able to travel the world, thanks to music.

 

Growing up, I was always looking for a way to fit in and looking for acceptance in the streets.
Music was and still is my saving grace.

Through music, I found a new way of living a new life A purpose.

Our  Guitar Guardian program was created for that young boy and girl that has no hope, that young person with a dream but is unable to go for it due to the lack of finance and support or cultural circumstances they may be facing
